II OF SWORDS
This week kicks off with Saturn, lord of time, stationing retrograde. The initiation of outer planetary retrogrades is inherently indicative of something unknown or unseen.
DAUGHTER OF CUPS
The Daughter of Cups is a well of compassion. An examiner of kindness. A bearer of bowls full to the brim with warmth.
II THE MAGICIAN
Some weeks are meant for resting. Sitting. Reflecting. Understanding. Wondering. This week is for weaving.
II THE HIGH PRIESTESS
Sometimes the thoughts come knocking. Running up the road like a marathon of itches screaming to be scratched. A parade of catcalls your ego is dying to defend.
IV OF CUPS
This week, the skies are relatively calm, giving us plenty of time to wade through Mercury’s recent station direct as it approaches and passes Neptune one last time.
VI OF WANDS
Creating is a delicate act but it doesn’t have to be serious. Doesn’t require a hundred pound heaviness.
XIV TEMPERANCE
Temperance is telling of a soul that knows itself well. Is a reflection of right-sized thought followed closely by intentional action.
VII OF SWORDS
The Seven of Swords speaks to self-deception. Judgement and criticism masked over faces too fearful to show their truth, even to a mirror.
XX JUDGEMENT
Judgement is the precursor to faith. The doorway to understanding. The initiation factor for forgiveness.
DAUGHTER OF PENTACLES
“We create the exhale. We allow the inhale.” The Daughter of Pentacles is the ultimate creatrix because she inherently understands the part of creating that is about permission.
ACE OF PENTACLES
The Ace of Pentacles, like all beginnings, is an invitation. An opening. A place to start as many times over as you need.
VII OF SWORDS
This week requires us to look at ways we’re imprisoning ourselves. Mars’ conjunction to Uranus on Tuesday heightens our sensation of the walls we want to break through
V OF CUPS
There is a relief that accompanies releasing our grief around anything that isn’t working. A purifying that happens when the rains come in.
VIII OF WANDS
Surprise often sends us into a second-guessing until we’ve made a spectacle of ourselves. Spontaneity is idealized, rarely poorly executed, but uncomfortable because it’s unfamiliar in a society that likes to plan outcomes.
XVIII THE MOON
Once in a blue moon, we pull cards double. They arrive like lightning and refuse to leave until we’ve worked their magic.
XVIII THE MOON
The Moon brings out our wildest. Our wiliest. Our most unrestrained spirit. The Moon asks us to emphasize the primacy of our primal nature.
FATHER OF SWORDS
The Father of Swords leads with confidence. Confides with charisma. Considers with…
IX OF SWORDS
The first part of any major shift is sometimes the most painful. The period of awakening. Of seeing what doesn’t fit.
DAUGHTER OF SWORDS
There is peace in silence. Calm in curiosity. Pride in whatever can be perceived in a moment. An opening in the offering of what is in front of you.
II OF WANDS
The end of this week contains a heavy dose of unpredictability, that slides easily (and perhaps sweetly) down your throat if you can get excited about the medicine of truth that awaits.
