TAROTSCOPES | APRIL 15 - APRIL 21

II THE MAGICIAN

Some weeks are meant for resting. Sitting. Reflecting. Understanding. Wondering. This week is for weaving. As Mercury and Venus enter Aries and the Sun ingresses into Taurus, a vibration of forward movement hums a lively beat into our bones. With a Full Moon in Libra this Thursday, the rare second in a row, the Magician immerses us in an aesthetic of action. Insists on the madness of making moves we may have paused on because they weren’t at their prime point in time. Of landing in the moment or jumping the gun but going either way.

The Magician speaks to the divine second/s when we can clearly access all our tools. When we make use of our passion and our pain, our principles and our pleasure. We we sharpen the knives of our intellect, fill out our first aid kits, and lay all the practicals in place. When we fluff the pillow we’ll fall into when we return and toss the duffel in the trunk because it’s time to arrive in our going. The Magician doesn’t skip a beat in the dance. Doesn’t distinguish between practice and performance because the present is always its priority. The Magician is all and nothing, either and or; the chocolate and vanilla swirl that doesn’t need even a sec to know it’s merged into mathematical magic.

The Magician combines all the elements into the element of unity. It is the skill precipitated by staying with the self and following your inner fire. It is doing as thou will, not in defense nor in attack. It is simply the act of acting. The ground rule of running with reality in one hand and vision in the other. Of recognizing where you are and what you need to do to get where you want to go - while you’re doing it. It is understanding the tools in your box and actually using them. It thinks, feels, intuits, ignites and manifests the story in the same way it wants to tell it.

This week, remember you’re exactly where you are. Rally with the idea that you’re in the just right spot to start. Realize how uniting with the moment makes you whole. How completion finds itself from the beginning. How integration starts with knowing what thread to release and when to let go so you can pick up another pattern. You have to use all your limbs to work the loom. Set your fingers free. Let your legs take on some of the tension. Make some limbs move while others take a break. The Magician understand that energy vibrates in waves. At the crest or the crash, your rise gives way to your fall. Lean into the call of karma ringing true.

WHAT EVEN IS A TAROTSCOPE? We often think of horoscopes as predictions that are specific to each astrological sign. In Ancient Greek, the term horoscope simply means "I watch the hour." To astrologers today, a horoscope is a chart that maps the planetary bodies in the sky. From this chart, we derive meaning that can influence how we work with energy. Regardless of our unique individual charts, we are ALL working with the same energy from above. Each week, I examine this energy, pull a tarot card and write a guided meditation with the collective in mind. My tarotscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. Please note that because we are all operating with our individual energy, some elements will resonate more than others. Take what you like and leave the rest. Tarotscopes are offered freely in an effort to cultivate collective healing. I am always grateful for your support in sharing this work with anyone you think it might help. If you are inspired or find support here, please consider making a donation to help sustain these weekly offerings.
