The Ace of Pentacles, like all beginnings, is an invitation. An opening. A place to start as many times over as you need.

V OF CUPS
Grief floods us after we’ve been emptied out. Fills us up when there’s nothing left to give.

IX OF PENTACLES
Sometimes the hunger is for something that cannot be eaten until it is grown. Toiled over. Sown and watered.

ACE OF PENTACLES
The Ace is the thread prepped on the loom and promised for weaving. It is the eyes we make and what we mean by them.

V OF PENTACLES
Last week, we shed every last shell that could no longer contain us. We found new homes, nestling dreams in the sheen of broken abalone, proud of the possibilities brought on by blank space.

The California redwood tree stands tall, hundreds, perhaps thousands of years old. It has seen and braved the tests of time.
