  • A foundational traditional astrology consultation for new and returning clients. If you’re new to your chart, I will guide us through its most significant structures and patterns. If you have a specific question, transition, or area of focus, we will shape the session around what is most alive and consequential in your life now.

  • An astrology consultation dedicated to mapping your upcoming year. Book this around your birthday, when the Sun moves through your rising sign, or during periods of strategic planning and decision-making to assess the influences shaping the months ahead. Using annual profections, your solar return chart, real-time transits, and progressions, we identify key themes, challenges, turning points, and tactical opportunities.

  • The 10th house is the most visible place in your chart - unmistakable, influential and often ornate. It describes your biggest hopes, furthest reaches and profound fears. Together with the Midheaven, it speaks to your reputation, career, legacy, and the legwork that gets you there. This consultation is designed for those ready to clarify their life’s work, strengthen their public presence, and engage their ambition with precision.

  • A focused traditional astrology consultation examining the sect of your chart. Sect is an ancient doctrine that determines the underlying power structure of your chart based on whether you were born during the day or at night. In this session, we identify which planets are most supportive, which are more challenging, and how to work strategically with that hierarchy to enhance favorable outcomes and mitigate difficulty.

  • A focused consultation to determine which astrological materia will best support your specific objectives and chart. Whether you are new to astrological magic or an experienced practitioner, we examine your intention, the relevant houses and planets in your chart, and any timing factors currently activating them. You will leave with one or more tailored materia recommendations and clear guidance for ritual application.

  • A traditional astrology consultation devoted to the bonds that shape your life. We examine the houses, planetary rulers, and timing influences governing attraction, partnership, rupture, compatibility, and relational fortune. Where useful, we’ll incorporating psychological insights and attachment theory while grounding in astrological framework. You will leave with clearer awareness of your relational patterns and greater confidence in communicating needs, boundaries, and desires.

  • All sessions happen real-time online via zoom and are recorded. You will receive a download link to your recording within 2 weeks of your completed session.*

    When you book a session you will receive a link to a zoom meeting via e-mail. At the time of your scheduled session, simply click the link to open the video chat. If you do not receive a link or have trouble with zoom please e-mail me directly at erin@etshipley.com

  • Ideally, yes. If you are booking a chart consult, make sure to provide your exact time, date and location of birth. These three components are essential to an accurate chart consultation.

    If you don’t know your exact birth time you can try reaching out to the hospital (if you were born in a hospital) or municipal government where you were born to request a copy of your birth certificate. If you still cannot find your birth time, I recommend working with an astrologer who specializes in chart rectification.

  • Appointments may be rescheduled in extreme cases due to sickness and other emergencies at my discretion. If you choose to reschedule, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be sent a code to reschedule your session. If my books are full or closed, you will have to wait for the next time my books open, which may be a period of up to three months. If you need to reschedule, you must email me at erin@etshipley.com. If you do not e-mail me, your session will be considered a no-show.

    Because I book out my calendar sometimes months in advance, cancellations must be made no later than three weeks before your scheduled appointment. After that deadline, the session is non-cancellable.

  • No-Shows
    If you do not show up to your scheduled session within 15minutes of the start of appointment, your session will be considered a no-show. No-show appointments are non-refundable.

    If you have a no-show appointment for a 60 or 90min chart consultation and would like to rebook, you can request a 15% off coupon (for the same reading type).

    Please note that showing up late to an appointment will cut into the client’s reading time, and there will be no extensions.

  • Your name, chart and identifying information always remains confidential, unless you have given me explicit written consent to share that information. That said, sometimes things come up in session that are important for me to work through to hold integrity and improve as an astrologer. I occasionally engage teachers and peer supervision practitioners when an experience arises that doesn’t sit quite right. In these situations your name and identifying information remains confidential to you and me but I may describe the experience in order to learn from it. This helps me be accountable to holding clients and community with respect, care and professionalism as a consulting astrologer.

  • I practice Traditional Astrology. The foundation of my practice is Hellenistic, though I weave Babylonian, Egyptian, Medieval, Renaissance and some Modern techniques into my delineations to create a contemporary approach that is situated in our current socio-political context. I primarily use the Whole Sign House System.
