TAROTSCOPES | MAR 18 - MAR 24

XIV TEMPERANCE

Temperance is telling of a soul that knows itself well. Is a reflection of right-sized thought followed closely by intentional action. Is evidence of understanding oneself so thoroughly that your physical flow aligns, seemingly, without effort to to support your spirit. Arriving at the end of an acutely individual journey in the major arcana, Temperance shows us the magic that happens as a result of routinely taking time and space to be our own witness.

On Wednesday, as the Sun leaps into Aries, its sign of exaltation, it wakes up a part of each our charts with which we identify intensely. An area that is bound to rekindle the flame that helps us find ourselves. With Mercury still floating his way back through Pisces, one story begins while another continues to unravel from a too tight wind. This is a week where we review with relief. Where laughter and tears collaborate in unlikely ways. Where the tension between our hard and soft-core cords cuts just the right amount of slack.

While days lengthen to overcome the night, the Moon blossoms to the brim with light. Wednesday’s Full Moon in Libra is a spring announcement of unique nature. Listening to Venus in Aquarius, currently in mutual reception with Uranus in Taurus, this Full Moon & Equinox motivate us to strike a staggering balance between owning our individuality and showing up to our relationships with otherworldly consciousness.

Temperance reminds us that in order to be in genuine connection, we must first be truthful with ourselves. We must pour forth the clear water of our emotional bodies in both private reflection and personal or public partnerships. We must allow our feelings to bring equilibrium to our internal spark. When we choose to be intentionally in touch with ourselves, we can allow our fire to breathe without fear of getting burnt. We can practice permitting the flames to lick us with our own passion in the sacred act of creating with presence. For if we are in true alignment with our spirit, the pain of imprisoning it is greater than the fear of where it will take us. The smoke of our fire smells sweet, fills our hair with the magic of memories made in the moment, lingering through our locks as a reminder of what it feels like to work from sacral to crown with every chakra open.

This week, intentionally activate both internal and external reflection. Believe yourself more than the fear that claims your ego. Acknowledge opportunities inspired by your center of self-respect without needing to take them. Then re-examine the center and notice if it needs to shift. Let conditioning fall away in the marriage between spirit and soul. Worry less about your physical actions but focus steadily on the feelings and fervor that nourish them. Let it be okay to surprise yourself with where you lead when you attend your intuition enough to follow it.

WHAT EVEN IS A TAROTSCOPE? We often think of horoscopes as predictions that are specific to each astrological sign. In Ancient Greek, the term horoscope simply means "I watch the hour." To astrologers today, a horoscope is a chart that maps the planetary bodies in the sky. From this chart, we derive meaning that can influence how we work with energy. Regardless of our unique individual charts, we are ALL working with the same energy from above. Each week, I examine this energy, pull a tarot card and write a guided meditation with the collective in mind. My tarotscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. Please note that because we are all operating with our individual energy, some elements will resonate more than others. Take what you like and leave the rest. Tarotscopes are offered freely in an effort to cultivate collective healing. I am always grateful for your support in sharing this work with anyone you think it might help. If you are inspired or find support here, please consider making a donation to help sustain these weekly offerings.
