TAROTSCOPES | MARCH 26 - APRIL 1

SEVEN OF SWORDS

Mercury Retrograde is the manager of missiles sent from the past moaning loudly through the present until we’re too mad to not change our patterns for the future. Minuscule marks that leave us marveling at our attempts to make mountains out of mysteries we might not be meant to solve. Our desperate need to know the results takes all the fun out of getting to know ourselves.

The Seven of Swords is the sister who slices you a sliver of pie and sneaks the rest for herself. You might be willing to swear for her secret but this card says too much sugar too quick will get you sick. Paranoia is a product of putting too much focus on on the food that wasn’t, isn’t and won’t be ours, the friends we can’t fix and the dilemmas that aren’t our responsibility to deal with. Fear as a motivator is a frightening frenemy. It thunders inadequacies in our ears, especially in situations where we don’t even need to be present, much less the saviour who calms the storm. Come back in the house dear child, so you don’t get struck by lightning. Fear is a construct meant to help us stay safe but not small. Come out of the closet little one and watch from the window. Stunning, isn’t it, when we observe the natural rhythms from safe spaces? The whole world lights up. All you have to do is wait, watch, listen.

This week, listen to the stories you’re telling yourself and to how others are relating. Wait for the odds to add up but don’t attempt to get even. Watch where stories overlap and where they divert. Follow the fork in the road but refrain from anything fishy lest you get caught in the net of trying to manipulate. You’re just as powerless over them as they are over you so focus on yourself. Remember your net worth is redefined by every choice you make and that you have a choice to begin with. Choose the juice that wakes you up over the booze that knocks you out. Then watch the ball get knocked out of the park as you jog a gentle lap, covering all your own bases and sliding sweetly into home.

WHAT EVEN IS A TAROTSCOPE? We often think of horoscopes as predictions that are specific to each astrological sign. In Ancient Greek, the term horoscope simply means "I watch the hour." To astrologers today, a horoscope is a chart that maps the planetary bodies in the sky. From this chart, we derive meaning that can influence how we work with energy. Regardless of our unique individual charts, we are ALL working with the same energy from above. Each week, I examine this energy, pull a tarot card and write a guided meditation with the collective in mind. My tarotscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. Please note that because we are all operating with our individual energy, some elements will resonate more than others. Take what you like and leave the rest. Tarotscopes are offered freely in an effort to cultivate collective healing. I am always grateful for your support in sharing this work with anyone you think it might help. If you are inspired or find support here, please consider making a donation to help sustain these weekly offerings.
