Girlhood is the reclamation of innocence. Girlhood is woven from the ways we unconsciously learn about our disempowerment and our instincts to create innocence and levity and mutual care despite a world that exerts power over us. Womanhood is the more mature and conscious understanding of those dynamics.

When we see Saturn and Venus together by transit or in a natal chart, we see relationships both plagued and blessed with difference and distance. We find grand age gaps, intergenerational affairs. We find the challenges of being born in moments with stark contrast but we also uncover admiration for the years between.

Without the Sun and the Moon, the dawn ceases to dominate the night. Murkiness permeates and the clear shapes of our lives recede into shade. During eclipse season, we get to experience this gloaming as a rare juncture in time.

Our law is a human creation. It is both real and illusion. It is man-made. Thus, it is neither inherent nor everlasting.

The law is essentially a social responsibility. Social being Venus. Responsibility being Saturn. Developing the capacity to respond to societal needs is the primary purpose of the law.
