Learn the basics to reading your personal astrological natal chart. This go at your own pace workshop has easy to decipher graphics and clear step-by-step instructions to help you learn the fundamentals of traditional natal chart astrology. It also contains descriptions for each of the traditional planets, zodiac signs and transpersonal planets for you to reference as you dive into exploring and understanding your unique astrological makeup.

Most people I speak to who are new to astrology struggle to understand how a chart works and how to read it. They are often confused by descriptions of more seasoned astrologers. This makes sense for a couple of reasons:

a) astrology is very complex! even the fundamentals go over most people’s heads
b) many astrologers take the basic elements of a chart for granted and forget to explain the most basic basics
c) people get caught up wondering “but what does all this astro jargon mean for me?”

This lesson is the ultimate tool is for:
-astrological beginners
-anyone new to traditional Western astrology
-anyone who finds themself confused by complex astrological interpretations
-those who don’t relate to their “sign(s)” and want to understand why
-people who want an easy reference guide to the Ascendant, zodiac signs and planets

The instructions and graphics in this guide are designed such that, when you’ve read it through, you’ll understand exactly what you’re looking at when you look at an astrological chart - and you’ll understand the meaning behind your key chart components.

A note on pricing:

The actual cost of this workshop is $35. I am offering tiered sliding scale pricing. The sliding scale represents the idea that financial resources, including income, are not and should not be the only determining factor in whether or not someone can access services/care/etc.

Some things to consider in choosing the payment option that is best for you:

If paying for a class, product, or service would be difficult, but not detrimental, it qualifies as a sacrifice. You might have to cut back on other spending in your life (such as going out to dinner, buying coffee, or a new outfit), but this will not have a long term harmful impact on your life. It is a sacred sacrifice in order to pursue something you are called to do. If, however, paying for a class, product, or service would lead to a harmful impact on your life, such as not being able to put food on the table, pay rent, or pay for your transportation to get to work, then you are dealing with hardship. Folks coming from a space of hardship typically qualify for the lower end of the sliding scale.

Consider paying lower on the sliding scale if you:
-have children or other dependents
-have unstable or inconsistent housing
-are unemployed, underemployed or underpaid
-have medical expenses not covered by insurance
-have limited access to higher education
-hold a racial identity or immigration status often targeted by the state
-qualify for public assistance

Consider paying higher on the sliding scale if you:
-have personal savings, investments or retirement accounts
-own the home you live in
-have a regular paycheck
-have access to financial security or inheritance
-have economic privilege or power in our community
-have a degree from an accredited institution
-are at low risk for state interventions due to race, class and ability
-have access to private legal aid if necessary
-work part-time or for yourself by choice
