TAROTSCOPES | JUNE 3 - JUNE 9
ACE OF SWORDS
The Ace of Swords unlatches the door to accuracy. Keeps its eye on the entrance to our intellect. Doesn’t necessarily dig deep but definitely cuts clear. The Ace of Swords embodies the light that pours through the crown of the head, as yet untainted by the awesome powers of our inner crazy. It is the first wind that rushes through the window when you open it. It is the initial light of the Sun appearing in the east at dawn. It is the mantra on the tip of your tongue. When this Ace appears, we are bestowed with the essential tool of the mind.
This week kicks off with several planetary starts. Early Monday morning, a New Moon in Gemini graces our brain space before waking hours, followed swiftly by Mercury’s ingress into Cancer and Venus’ shift into the sign of the twins. These transitions might be soft but are not altogether subtle. They will ask us to hone our relating skills in radical ways. Will demand that we do a little more labor to cultivate connection with our truth so it doesn’t come out sideways. Both Mercury and Venus are moving out of domicile and into a more styled way of being. Here they can come out dressed in divine drag as long as they’re not disconnected from their inherent dignity.
As you navigate shifts this week, try to treat yourself lightly. Counter any cuts with candor. Be concerned about the honesty you want to carry with yourself. Acknowledge areas where you want to feel more enlightened. The Ace of Swords asks you to consider the line between truth and belief. Is there a difference? Or is reality, fact as we know, shaped inherently by what we believe? Remember, there is kindness in truth. There is safety in authenticity. Your truth, like your beliefs can change but you must begin by knowing them.
WHAT EVEN IS A TAROTSCOPE? We often think of horoscopes as predictions that are specific to each astrological sign. In Ancient Greek, the term horoscope simply means "I watch the hour." To astrologers today, a horoscope is a chart that maps the planetary bodies in the sky. From this chart, we derive meaning that can influence how we work with energy. Regardless of our unique individual charts, we are ALL working with the same energy from above. Each week, I examine this energy, pull a tarot card and write a guided meditation with the collective in mind. My tarotscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. Please note that because we are all operating with our individual energy, some elements will resonate more than others. Take what you like and leave the rest. Tarotscopes are offered freely in an effort to cultivate collective healing. I am always grateful for your support in sharing this work with anyone you think it might help. If you are inspired or find support here, please consider making a donation to help sustain these weekly offerings.
